Throughout Dr. Patel’s career as a General Dentist, his philosophy has remained the same: “your comfort is my number one priority”. He treats every patient the same way he would treat a close family member. He values educating patients on the importance of oral health and assisting them in making sound, informed treatment decisions. Dr. Patel is a lifelong learner and routinely takes continuing education courses so that he can provide the best treatment possible with the latest technology and dental materials available. Dr. Patel has a great chairside manner which makes patients feel at ease.
Dr. Jay Patel attended Ohio State University where he majored in Biology and completed his undergraduate studies in 2004. After discovering his interest for dentistry and working closely with patients on a daily basis, Dr. Patel attended Case Western School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH. Upon graduation in 2008, Dr. Patel completed a 1-year advanced training General Practice Residency (GPR) at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center located in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Patel is originally from Cleveland, OH and a lifelong OSU Buckeye fan! He and his wife, Mayuri, moved to Chicago after he completed dental school and had their first daughter, Naya, shortly afterwards. Living in Chicago was an amazing experience, but like most people, they outgrew the city life and made the decision to be closer to family. They moved to Michigan in 2015 and welcomed their second daughter, Mira. Dr. Patel and his family enjoy calling Michigan home and look forward to being here long-term. They are exceptionally pleased with the level of education offered in their hometown of Northville and have made many friends in the area. In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys swimming, tennis, basketball, travelling, and trying new restaurants.
